The professional development online diploma programme in 'Human Rights and Forced Displacement' is offered by the UPEACE Human Rights Centre. The programme comprises five online modules of six weeks each on the topics of forced migration, trafficking in persons, protection of refugees, protection of stateless persons and protection of Internally Displaced Persons. Enrollments are open on a rolling basis and participants can join the programme at the beginning of any of the five online courses. The professional development online diploma programme in 'Sustainable Development and Human Rights' is offered by the UPEACE Human Rights Centre. The programme comprises six online modules of six weeks each on the topics of 'Development and Human Rights', 'Business, Development and Human Rights', 'Child Rights and Development', 'Environment, Development and Human Rights', 'Gender, Development and Human Rights', and 'Indigenous Peoples' Rights and Development'. In order to obtain the diploma, participants need to complete five of the aforementioned six modules. Enrollments are open on a rolling basis and participants can join the programme at the beginning of any of the six online modules. The Diploma in Social Innovation is offered through the UPEACE Centre for Executive Education. The Diploma is awarded for the successful completion of 5 online courses during an 18-month period, all of which offer specific skills and training to launch a social business, organization or project. The capstone course, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Social Change, guides participants through the process of writing a social business plan.
