Part-Time Doctorate
The Part-Time Doctorate programme is designed to be completed in 4 years:

If additional time is needed to complete the doctorate for either the part-time or full-time programme, additional tuition and administrative fees will be incurred. Any extension of the programme would first need to be approved by the Doctoral Committee.
Scholarships
UPEACE, as a not-for-profit institution, has limited funds for financial assistance. However, admitted students can obtain financial assistance from UPEACE in any of the following cases:
30% Tuition Waiver (Automatic) – Available to Doctorate candidates that meet one of the following criteria:
50% Tuition Waiver (Automatic) – Available to Doctorate candidates that meet one of the following criteria:
30% or 50% Tuition Waiver (Merit Based) – Available for those who do not belong to the above categories. These waivers are offered in limited number and will be awarded by merit, not financial condition.
100% Tuition Waiver (Merit Based) – This scholarship is offered by the UPEACE Doctoral Committee to candidates based on the compatibility of their doctorate proposals with specific current research projects within the academic departments at UPEACE. Students are required to pay administrative fee for registration, and the corresponding living expenses. These waivers are offered in limited number and will be awarded by merit, not financial condition.
Full Scholarship (Merit Based) – This scholarship is offered when funds are available and it is granted by the UPEACE Doctoral Committee based on the compatibility of the candidate’s doctoral proposal with the call for applications published by UPEACE. In this case, admitted students will have to pay administrative fees, and will receive monthly stipends in accordance with the financial conditions offered.
