University for Peace (UPEACE) Delegation – Rome

The University for Peace (UPEACE) delegation in Rome serves as a key institutional and academic liaison for UPEACE’s presence in Europe. Located at Palazzo Falletti, Via Panisperna 207, 00184 Rome, the delegation fosters dialogue and cooperation between Italy, international organizations, and academic communities, aligned with UPEACE’s core values of peace, human rights, and sustainable development.


Role and Objectives

The delegation’s mission is to strengthen relationships with international agencies, governmental bodies, and academic partners, facilitating opportunities for dialogue and collaboration. Its mandate includes promoting multilateral cooperation and advancing education on critical global issues.

Faculty of Artificial Intelligence
A flagship initiative of the delegation is the establishment of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Rome. This new faculty will focus on education and research in technology, particularly on the role of artificial intelligence in addressing contemporary global challenges. The programs offered will integrate technology with the broader goals of peace and sustainable development, preparing professionals who are both highly skilled and globally conscious.

Leadership of the Delegation
The delegation is led by Dr. Roberto Savio, the Rector’s Representative for Italy, supported by Dr. Sergio Bellucci, Academic Director, and Eng. Bruno Quinzi, Administrative Director. Together, they ensure that the delegation operates in accordance with UPEACE’s high standards, advancing initiatives that enhance the university’s global role.
