The Doctoral Degree Programme in Peace and Conflict Studies, offered by the University for Peace in partnership with The Nippon Foundation, prepares the next generation of scholar-practitioners and policy leaders through applied, policy-oriented research.

Designed for working professionals, this part-time hybrid programme combines online learning with international residential experiences in Costa Rica and Japan, enabling students to integrate their professional expertise into research that addresses real-world peacebuilding challenges in Asia and beyond.
