UPEACE offers transportation from the UPEACE Campus to Ciudad Colón and back at different times during the day to accommodate both morning and afternoon class sessions (morning, late morning, early afternoon, mid-afternoon, and end of the day).
The University for Peace is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Classes run from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and then again from 1:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Specific bus route/schedule information will be provided during orientation.
Transportation between UPEACE from San Bosco, Brasil de Mora, Barrio La Trinidad, and surrounding areas is offered only in the morning and at the end of the day. Students residing in these areas who do not take the morning or evening bus will need to arrange their own transportation between their homes and Ciudad Colon in order catch the other buses offered by UPEACE.
It is important to note that the bus needs to adhere to the established schedule. In order to avoid delays and the inconvenience of missing the bus, we recommend students arrive 5 minutes before the indicated time. If students wish to take an official (red) taxi to the University at times when the buses do not run, they can do so for $8-10 USD. Because there is no public transportation available from El Rodeo to Ciudad Colon and San Jose, students may use UPEACE transportation (including the Staff Bus) within the established schedule.
La UPAZ ofrece transporte desde el Campus de la UPAZ a Ciudad Colón y viceversa a diferentes horas del día para adaptarse a las sesiones de clase de mañana y tarde (mañana, última hora de la mañana, primera hora de la tarde, media tarde y final del día).
La Universidad para la Paz está abierta de lunes a viernes de 8.00 a 16.00 horas.
Las clases se imparten de 8:45 a 11:45 y de 13:15 a 16:15. Durante la orientación se proporcionará información específica sobre las rutas y horarios de los autobuses.
El transporte entre UPAZ desde San Bosco, Brasil de Mora, Barrio La Trinidad, y áreas aledañas se ofrece solamente en la mañana y al final del día. Las personas estudiantes que residen en estas áreas y que no tomen el autobús de la mañana o de la tarde tendrán que organizar su propio transporte entre sus hogares y Ciudad Colón para poder tomar los otros autobuses ofrecidos por UPAZ.
Es importante tener en cuenta que el autobús debe cumplir con el horario establecido. Para evitar retrasos y el inconveniente de perder el autobús, recomendamos a las personas estudiantes llegar 5 minutos antes de la hora indicada. Si desean tomar un taxi oficial (rojo) a la Universidad en los horarios en que no circulan los autobuses, pueden hacerlo por 8-10 USD. Debido a que no hay transporte público disponible desde El Rodeo a Ciudad Colón y San José, las personas estudiantes pueden utilizar el transporte de UPAZ (incluyendo el Staff Bus) dentro del horario establecido.
